You'd think by age 23 I'd have been smarter than that! And look at the shirt I was wearing (it's a Glamour Shots shirt!). And what about that hair? Pose? Vacuous expression? I'm posed as if I just 'happened' to be sitting there with chin in hand, big hair, a flouncy shirt and a far-away look in my eye while somebody 'accidentally' snapped my picture.

Hey, let's be fair. I was there with you, don't forget, and they pretty much chose the outfits for us and posed us on top of that. At least you don't look like a child prostitute.

Hahaha.. My husband walked up behind me as I was... doing homework.. just after something took control over the keyboard and brought me to iamhousewife. He saw that photo and said, "that's the same pose as that photo of you." Which, coincidentally happens to be a Glamour Shots photo that I took after receiving a gift certificate from my good friend.. femme au foyer!! I sense a trend!
Oh crap--I forgot about that? What was I thinking when I gave you that gift certificate? Did I think that I looked so GOOD in my Glamour Shot that I needed to extend this wealth to my friends and family?

I'm going to make sure Husband sees this picture so that he can appreciae how much better I look now. Pasting my head on that SI cover model's body kind of backfired (he looks at me funny now everytime I get undressed as if he's thinking, "Wait--what happened to her chiseled stomach?")
I never saw that pic. Weird thing is you look better in your wedding photos at the age you are now then in those glam shots.
I'm going to gush a bit.. but you are beautiful in every photo I have seen.

Hahahaha... I love it! It's so classic glamour shots. I always begged my parents to let me take glamour shots when I was younger and they'd never let me... and to think, I could've looked like a child prostitute, too!
i found my glamour shots, and let me tell you, they're anything but glamourous. when i figure out where i put my scanner (when i 'organized' my office) i'll post mine on my blog and we'll see who has the best "i just farted" expression on their face.
Shannon - Perhaps I was smarter at that age than I gave myself credit for. I found the pics locked up in Mom's old cedar chest. I only bought a few and as far as I can tell, I never put them on display. This would account for why you never saw them. As for looking better at 23 than at 36, all I can say is THANK YOU!!! That comment made my day!
Katie - The next time I see your parents I'm going to give them a 'talkling to' for not letting you get your own child prostitute photos. I mean, really! The jean jacket with the upturned collar is a rite of passage in a young girl's life. Just ask my little sister (Rose, you need to send me your pic).
Mel, if you can't find your scanner just bring them ono over to Chez Femme and we'll get them uploaded lickety-split!
